not much to write about today, as i've been sad... and quite busy: staff meetings, brochure layout and design work, luncheons with long-lost friends, the works. the hours i have left in Berkeley are running out like the proverbial sand through my fingers. so, i'll just post this picture i have of my friends Matthias and Abigail taken when they were visiting me in Maui last spring... (this is up on the slopes of Haleakala Volcano, at around 7,000 feet above sea level. yes, it can get quite cold up at the summit, which is 12,000 ft.). oh... Jorge came by after school this afternoon to help me work on a book project. he might write about it in his next weblog flip. i will too, at some point.
