Since everyone around seems to be ending their weblogs, the entire community is falling apart, and there's no reason for me to continue doing this. I'm going to continue weblogging until next week, and then I think I'm going to retire it until next summer. Maybe I'll update it every once and a while from Maui just to check in though. Til then...

to speak the obvious: the above is a flaming falsehood, thanks to the boy with the equally flaming red spiky hair (picture soon!) and bears no resemblance to any kind of reality whatsoever ;-) I must say he did a bang-up job imitating my style, however. I suppose Lowell HS has begun training him quite well in prosaic matters? not? lol

sunday midnight...

well, that was MOST interesting, Trev and Max, Daniel and David! as i write this, it's a bit past midnight now, and i'm getting ready to go back up to Jane's. just got back not too long ago from steaming hot Castro Valley, where I spent the evening with my bro and his family. took Nik with me, on his 2nd BART ride (his first was with Trev when he was given to me weeks ago now). i have this little rodent transporter thingy, and he seemed to enjoy the ride quite a bit. inside the train, i let him out let him sit wherever he wanted, which was mostly perched on my shoulder, to the great delight (or initial squeamishness) of lots of Raiders fans, who were going home after the game late in the afternoon.
