why, again, does text rule?

exhibit #1: David's graphic description of his elbow breaking. he does a better job than any still camera, or even a videocam. caveat: the squeamish need not go read his weblog.

exhibit/reason #3: because you can't take snapshots of your dreams. and Laura's weblog entry shows exactly how you can link a dream with waking life experiences, past or present.

exhibit #4: my new Nikolaicam! but that's not text, you say? well, true... but you can only "see" so much into the life of my pet rat using that graphic medium. what's really interesting are his writings. but right now he's not saying much. the lazy little litterling is in dreamland. oh well, i'll wake him up when i go feed him later on.
