sunday at kass'

just past midnight... just flipping. too late to write. *yawn* more tomorrow. just go to Kass' weblog for an update. ;-)

1:30 pm ... decided, on the spur of the moment, to go the SFMOMA and check out the Magritte exhibit. it's closing tomorrow, arg! i had forgotten all about this. anyway, i checked first to see if Giancarlo was online, but he isn't. i would've wanted to see the Magritte together with him and benefit from his commentary on the surrealist's art. lots of comments to make on this and that (e.g., Aaron's final weblog), and lots of recent pix to link to (not just ratpix either *squeak*), but will do that this evening instead. gotta run!

3 p.m. ... editing this page from the Metreon somewhere. i shoulda known. the queue outside MOMA this afternoon was as long as 10 anacondas put tail to snout. extended around the block, so i didn't even bother. the crowd inside would have been stifling. perhaps i'll take a couple hours off from work tomorrow afternoon instead. oh well. ah, it's FREE Tuesday! anyone want to play hooky and join me to witness Rene's last day at the SF MOMA? ;-)

11:30 p.m. ... hmm, where'd the evening go? oh yeah. getting re-acqainted with that mind-numbing, intellect-erasing tool, the tube. weird. i kept trying to "interact" with it, particularly when watching ESPN's SportsCenter. (dammit, i want to get the statistical lowdown on why Bluejay pitcher David Wells has had such a great season, why can't i just "click" on him? oh yeah. i'm merely watching TV. of course, it was awesome the way the A's rocked Wells for 5 RBIs in the first inning.) it's a webbed world, TV-heads, get with the program. ;-) and i also got re-acquainted with laundry. why, you ask? well, Jane's washer and dryer are digital can you believe it? before too long, she'll be able to monitor AND control her laundry machines' behavior from her computers. (she's one of the most wired people i know. even her NordicTrack has a web connection! so you can download certain pre-set walking or running workouts from their website. a bit much, eh?) anyway, didn't feel like writing much today, though i have a lot to write about. will do that tomorrow, then.
