1:30 a.m.
*yawn* spent most of the evening in San Francisco with my ATDP colleagues and friends, Carrie, Gary, and Laura, at the ice skating rink at the Zeum (across from the Metreon) then at this wonderful underground Italian restaurant called Boca di Beppo. BARTing it home at almost midnight.

then spending a little time with my pet Nikolai, who found time to update his weblog on my iBook, tapping out his thoughts and observations with those cute little digits of his... and in a prose style remarkably similar to mine! ;-) also, Daniel 'littletrev' Hunter came by yesterday afternoon to visit me and my rat, to whom he took an immediate liking. (that's him feeding the little critter some croissant crumbs there.) we strolled over to Cody's at Telly, where i got me a couple of rat books, and for the kid one on turtles (he plans to get one, though he really is hoping for a rat or snake instead) and a bio of the skateboarder Tony Hawk. (as it looks like Daniel will be updating his weblog regularly, i welcome him to the list on the left.)

more tomorrow, as i have to go now and spend my last night at my summer sublet. as such, further latenight updates from now on will be coming from Jane's ultra-wired redwood house way up in the hills... my own rat's nest and eagle's eyrie for the two months before i levitate westward across the Pacific, to mythopoetic Maui.
