how interesting to sit here at this street corner. Van Ness and Clay, flipping this log. while it's the case that i *am* inside a building, at an Internet station at a Kinko's, the wall in front of me is glass and i'm virtually a couple of feet from the sidewalk. sounds of the street are muffled, to be sure, but i can see the fog outside, can see the Muni buses ply their routes, the jags and the hondas, can see this City i fell in love with a long time ago.

just left off Trev at AMC1000, where he was to meet up with a friend to catch a movie (X-Men perhaps?) and am now with Kass here at this cyberpoint, before we go off to get some grub nearby at Cordon Bleu, a wonderful hole-in-the-wall joint that serves authentic Vietnamese food. i am hungry, but will break my Sunday fast soon, as it is now late in the afternoon.

Carmina is still ringing in my ears, and still the throng of memories of singing this vivid work of art with those awesome choirs in Scotland are fresh in my mind. more later, then...

(if anyone is reading this now, before "home," please do reply. Kass and i were just sorta bemoaning the fact that hardly does reply to the daily weblogs. oh well, no big deal. but a little hello by clicking the "skull" icon would be nice.)

p.s.: i've got pix of the concert! Kass may look like a tiny crimson dot (Trev and i were way up in the nosebleed seats), but we'll see what Photoshop can do to enhance and magnify things, eh?

back in berkeley. but off again to the apartment for a quick nap before another long night of prep. Angel's driving up from Coalinga too, but isn't leaving from there until around 9-ish, so i'll be up really late for sure...
