Why did you take AIC this summer?

I - ideas
C - continuity

be a visionary...
what do smaller computers mean for us?

lloyd's idea: personalities are placed online right now (manila)...our personalities are the property of someone else...lloyd speculates that in 10 or 15 years software will become so intelligent that a piece of software can analyze and construct a personality (AI), computers are going to be much much much faster and much much much smaller. a piece of software will be able to analyze text; something we write, and construct a personality from it. software will construct a lloyd one day...

(Aaron's notes as i spoke to the class)

3:30 p.m. update: more commentary later this evening... but for now, i can already tell, from just a quick glance at the journals/weblogs, that the ideas you kids have are fascinating, and telling. why? how? stay tuned.

9:18 p.m. update: brain is mush. i didn't nap. thoughts aren't coagulating.

9:54 p.m. brain still mushy. too much reading on monitors or computer screens is not good. update on this might have to wait for another day. i did have some wild ideas, that need to be explained better ;-)
