maui strawberry guava jam
10 p.m. my time, midnight California
 weblog title subject spread on SkyFlakes crackers. chased down with grape juice. sleepiness convenes within my range of sight. no one else online via IM. the tips of four sharp sea anemone spines still lie embedded in my left ring finger. earlier, i urinated on it, to help speed up the disintegration of said spines. sister-in-law Mimi told me at the beach that that's what locals do, when they step on the vana (sea anemone) in the coral reefs. it works... the spines aren't hurting at all. just feels slightly weird. more writing when fully awake, many hours from now, perhaps when the moon sets over Lanai... the island offshore, in the pic above. the picture is actually opposite the one i took yesterday, of the moon rising above the West Maui Mountains. i just turned around, crossed the road to the beach, and captured the afterglow of the setted (is that a word?) sun above Lanai.
